Printable Stamps are just that...Images that I have designed that are sent to you through email in the form of a PDF file...Once you have received the download images through email, you would print out the images using your home printer..Then you would just color in the images just like a regular rubber or clear stamp image using your watercolor pens/pencils....They are affordable and almost instant after purchase....(emailed to you within 24 hours after payment)...no more waiting on the Mailman..
They are also PERFECT for storage....you don't have to find a space in your craft area to store them....because since they are downloads, you can just store them in a folder in your computer.
Here is some information and tips on working with the PRINTABLE STAMPS.
PLEASE NOTE: To be able to open the PDF files, you will need to have ADOBE READER installed on your computer............here is the link to the latest ADOBE READER...the program is free to download:

Making rub-ons out of the Printable Stamps:
Got an image that you want to put somewhere on a project, you can do that by making a rub-on.
You will need some INK JET TRANSPARENCY FILM to make your own rub-on's...
1. After bringing up your PDF Printable Stamp image click on top left print button.
2. Go into YOUR printer setup and click on the MIRROR image. (see image below)
The Mirror Image was found under my FINISHING in my HP Printer setup...The Last Option under Orientation has Mirror Image...Select this option.
NOTE: IF THE IMAGE DOESN'T NEED TO BE MIRROR, YOU CAN SKIP NUMBER 2 ....(Mainly Just words will need to be Mirrored)
Put some Transparency paper into your printer with the SHINY side up....or down depending on how your printer prints out...
YOU WANT THE IMAGE TO PRINT ON THE SHINY SIDE.
Being careful not to touch the image or let it rub up against anything....use something like a Popsicle stick and rub the image onto your project.
Resizing the Printable Stamps: ..
There are a few ways of making the stamp images larger or smaller.
FIRST WAY
One way of making them smaller is to follow the directions below...this is going to make all of the images smaller on that page...if you only want ONE of the images smaller on the page, follow the directions below titled PRINTING JUST ONE IMAGE then follow these instructions.
1. Open the pdf file
2. Click on the print button on the top left side and the print menu will come up.
3. Look half way down the print menu and you will find " Page Scaling" .... click on the drop down arrow and select " Multiple Pages per sheet"
4. This should now give you 2 pages per sheet .... of course it will only print one page as there is only a one page document ... Your image will now be half the size of the original image.
5. If you wish to make the image even smaller ... select the option underneath "Page Scaling" which is " Pages per sheet" ... it will depend which number you select how big your image will be.
THIS WAY WILL NOT GIVE YOU EXACTLY THE SIZE YOU WANT THOUGH, IT IS SOMEWHAT DETERMINED BY YOUR PRINTER AS TO HOW SMALL THE IMAGE WILL APPEAR.
SECOND WAY
Another way of making the images smaller or larger is by going into your printer options...USING THIS WAY, YOU CAN GET THE IMAGE JUST ABOUT ANY SIZE YOU WANT IT.
If there is only one image on the page that you want to change the size, follow these directions: (if there is more then one image, you will need to follow the directions below FIRST)
1. After you ask the printer to print in the pdf file, before printing, go into your Printer's Properties or set up.
2. Now you are looking for something in the set up that allows you to put a number in for making the file bigger or smaller called % OF NORMAL SIZE.....this level allows you to make the image smaller or bigger.
In my hp printer, it is under EFFECTS
in the sample below you can see it in my hp sample, I put the number 73 in mine...Moving this lever left to right, will make the image smaller or bigger.
Unfortunately all printers properties are different, some may not even have this option...so if it doesn't, you might want to just stick with the FIRST way above....after you get the size you want...ask the printer to print...you might have to print a few times to get what you want....to give you a good ideal..one of your designer Shelly Skala, took the HUGE flower stamp 2 and put a number of 35 and reduced the flower that is on this card here.
Printing just ONE image: You can just have one image print on a page instead of all of the images...follow the instructions below: 1. Open up the PDF file that contains the image. Don't worry about wasting paper when the image prints in the middle of the page, you can always use a plain sheet of paper and have the image print out first on this paper to see where it will print and then tape your paper onto this spot and have the printer print the image again only on the sheet you want it on....this way you don't waste a whole piece of paper.
2. Click on TOOLS
3. Then click on SELECT & ZOOM
4. Then click on SNAPSHOT TOOL (has like a camera next to it).
5. The cursor turns into like a dotted box....draw an imaginary box around the image that you want to print and click on the printer.
..........THE IMAGE WILL PRINT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE PAGE.............
CHANGING THE COLOR OF THE IMAGE LINES:
Some of the Printable stamps you will be able to change the line colors without losing any resolution of the image itself, while others you will.....To be able to change the line colors, you will need some type of printmaster or Printshop program....there are many high and low end programs out there, but for this tip, I will give you directions on how I did it using PRINTMASTER...
1. Open up the PDF file that contains the image.
Click on TOOLS
Then click on SELECT & ZOOM
Then click on SNAPSHOT TOOL (has like a camera next to it).
The cursor turns into like a dotted box....draw an imaginary box around the image that you want to change the line colors of.
2. After you have selected the image...THEN....enlarge the image to about 200 (you may have to play with this number a bit)...for the Pillow box that is shown here, I used the EASTER BACKGROUND stamp and enlarged it to view at 200 percent.
3. Then right click on the image and select copy graphic...then open up your graphic program...(printmaster program) and paste it into the program....
4. Now depending on what type of program you are going to paste the image in, the directions will vary...but for Printmaster, open up the program, after you have a blank document, go to edit and paste...your image will appear on the screen...
5. After the image is on the screen and is selected go to FORMAT then COLOR and choose your color...then PRINT.
Please note, it is best to enlarge the image in the PDF BEFORE copying and pasting it into your other grapic program...it will help keep the resoulution the same as if you were printing it in the pdf itself...now if you were to open up your PDF WITHOUT enlarging the image first and then tried to enlarge it, in your graphic program, it might lose some resolution....
Also depending on if you are trying to make the images really big, you will end up losing some resolution....
